If you're a kid like me born in the 80s, growing up watching Andre the Giant, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Jake the Snake then likelihood is you came back and watched it late mid 90s as well when the Attitude Era took its place as the highest rated show on TV.
It was here we first saw a young Rocky Mavia, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, Undertaker and crew dominate and inspire the bigger than life persona to our screens.
We could all smell what The Rock was cooking just as our brother Daniel Vidot aka Xyon Quinn did - Ex NRL player turned professional WWE wrestler.
I've had the opportunity to gift one of our Matai Watches to Xyon and also asked him just a few questions to add Value to our people.
Where were you born and raised?
Born and raised in Brisbane, Australia in a town called Algester.
What made you want to be a Wrestler?
I've always Idolized the Rock since back in the day so that's what first made me want to be a wrestler.
Was it hard giving up NRL to pursue your dream?
Definitely hard giving up footy but it was something I prepared myself for.
What is the best advice you've ever been given?
Just because you've lost a feather doesn't mean you cannot fly.
What do you want your legacy to be when it's all said and done?
I want to give another young uso out there the glimmer of proof that all is possible when you put your heart towards something.
What's your message for all our young Matai / Pacifica youth?
Wear your heart on your sleeve always and never forget your roots.
I thank you uso for carrying that torch of Pacific Samoan wrestlers, that prestigious legacy it holds and inspiring the next generation to come through.
The future WWE Champion is coming.
Alofa atu on your journey from your Matai Aiga
