Our family have resided in the Penrith area for over 15 years.
Me and mine arrived in 2016 from Auckland with only the mighty All Blacks at heart.
I remember being laughed at when telling certain people on the job that I was living in St Marys and same with my wife having strange looks in the corporate world. I was informed it was troubled. Mt Druitt , St marys the surroundings etc it was because their intellect told them only brown people live there.
Far from the truth...
Much like West Auckland the diverse culture enables us to experience the backgrounds of many nationalities and we have loved every moment of our time living here. The amount of Pacific Talent that has emerged from the area is absolutely extraordinary and we believe this club has sacrificed and done alot to enable our people to grow.
Not to take away from any of the other clubs but home is where the heart is at. It's where our family is and where my kids play footy which is why Dad has put his hands up.
